Taiji (Tai Chi) is a safe and enjoyable form of mindfulness-based exercise that can have many health benefits (https://www.nccih.nih.gov/health/tai-chi-what-you-need-to-know). This class focuses on gentle Taiji fundamentals and mindful walking that are accessible to adults of all ages and ability levels. Students are encouraged to go at their pace, seek comfort in the movement, and rest as needed. Please wear loose, comfortable, layered clothing and clean indoor shoes. Here is a short video about a veterans experience with Taiji: https://vimeo.com/122663858
